I have always been fascinated with the weather since I was a little girl, stemming from my favorite childhood movie, The Wizard Of Oz. Growing up in a small town in South Jersey, I was also surrounded by winter snowstorms and summer thunderstorms. It was these events that made me realize I wanted to study the weather, and I even wrote in my eighth grade yearbook, "I plan to become a Meteorologist."

I graduated from Brown University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Sciences. I furthered my studies through Mississippi State's Distance Learning Program and received my Meteorology Certification in 2010.

I began my broadcast career in the summer of 2006 as an intern at WCAU-NBC10 in Philadelphia. I worked closely with their Earthwatch Team and learned the fundamentals behind forecasting.

I started my on-air broadcast career at WSEE in Erie, PA in 2007. In addition to providing the weather for the Erie viewing area, I also forecasted for the Caribbean and Central America, including more than 30 islands and locations.

I currently work with WBIR in Knoxville, TN since joining the station in December, 2009. You can find me providing the weekend weather reports on WBIR as well as the noon newscasts on Thursdays & Fridays. I also do live reporting for Live at Five at Four!

Forecasting for various places has allowed me to cover several types of weather, from lake effect snow and extreme heat to severe storms and tropical cyclones. I am proud to say that I was a member of the WSEE Stormteam during one of the snowiest seasons in history. During the 2008-09 Season, Erie picked up 145.8 inches of snow, making it the second snowiest season on record.

In my spare time, I love to travel, spend time outdoors, watch movies, and be surrounded by good company. I also love spending time with my two-year-old Beagle, Lola. Sports have always played a big part in my life, especially when I was recruited to run track for Division I Brown University. Since I graduated, I now resort to my own workouts and putting my faith in Philadelphia sports teams! E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!
